I had mentioned in the previous week’s post how a salt bath made all the difference to remove negative energies and I was intentionally doing things to help raise my consciousness which continued through to this week.
Last weekend I spent a lot of quality time with my kids, put up the Christmas tree together, had Christmas music on for days and really embraced the time away from all the negative news and social media.

Hormones
I believe it was 3 weeks ago I mentioned how it crossed my mind there might be something unbalanced with my hormones and have since decided to look into that further. Last Friday I went on a bit of a goose chase to find some information about testing the hormones here in Canada and concluded there are some hormones that can be tested through my Dr covered under our health care plan, whereas many hormones are not which can quickly adds up in costs.
What prompted me to look into this is the extreme irritability and exhaustion I felt after exercising which felt the same as when I knew I had adrenal fatigue. I want to make sure I take the correct supplements and promote healing so would like to see where my cortisol levels are in addition to another hormone I’ll speak to in a separate post. I was taking supplements for adrenal fatigue for many months but stopped earlier this year due to costs. I’d rather not guess and know where I stand now before taking new supplements.

I would say overall, my metabolism has adjusted to the new way of eating less calories and most days I’m not very hungry so don’t want to overeat, which is a good sign!
